- NorthStar Midstream ordered the Northstar LNG bunker barge in August 2019, with delivery scheduled for the end of 2021. This vessel is part of NorthStar Midstream's establishment of Polaris New Energy (PNE) to focus on LNG transportation and distribution along U.S. coastal and inland waterways.
- The Northstar (also referred to as Clean Canaveral) is a 5,400 cbm LNG bunker barge, and Northstar Midstream has options for two additional sister barges. A sister vessel to the Clean Canaveral, with a capacity of 5,500 m3, was ordered in November 2021.
