- Sondex A/S was founded in 1984 in Denmark, specializing in plate heat exchangers and freshwater distillers. Over the years, the company expanded its product range to include various types of heat exchangers, including brazed, semi-welded, and all-welded models. In 2016, Danfoss acquired Sondex, further strengthening its position in heat transfer solutions.
- The Sondex Titan is part of Sondex's plate and shell heat exchanger (SPS) series. This series is designed to combine the high working pressures and temperatures of shell and tube heat exchangers with the high efficiency of plate heat exchangers.
- The Titan, as a plate and shell heat exchanger, is particularly well-suited for condensation and steam heating duties, especially those involving aggressive media or high pressures and temperatures. Its design makes it highly resistant to thermal shocks and fatigue, making it ideal for cyclic duties with sudden temperature fluctuations.
