WEG marine electric motors — China.
Did you know
- WEG, a Brazilian multinational, was founded in 1961 and initially focused on producing electric motors. The company expanded its operations into China starting in 2004 with the acquisition of a manufacturing plant in Nantong, which produced low and high-voltage industrial electric motors.
- WEG's AC Motors (Induction Asynchronous) from China are part of a broader portfolio that includes the W20, W21, and W22 series for low-voltage applications, as well as medium and high-voltage motors. The W22 series, for example, is considered a premium efficiency motor designed for demanding industrial applications, offering improved cooling, reduced vibration and noise, and heavy-duty construction.
- WEG's AC Motors (Induction Asynchronous) manufactured in China are chosen for their cost-effectiveness and suitability for standard industrial applications, offering a balance of performance and value. They are designed for various industrial uses, including pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors, and are available with IE3 high efficiency and IP55 protection for harsh working conditions.
