- The Furuno DS-80 Doppler Speed Log, a predecessor to later models, was introduced around April 2000.
- The DS-86 is part of Furuno's Doppler Speed Log series, which includes models like the DS-80 and the newer DS-85. The DS-85, introduced around February 2021, is presented as a next-generation single-axis speed log, succeeding the DS-80. The DS-60 is a 3-axis Doppler Sonar, designed for larger vessels (50,000 GT and greater) and offers more comprehensive motion data than a single-axis speed log.
