- Hempaguard Ultima is positioned as Hempel's ultimate performance silicone coating system, representing the next generation within the Hempaguard range. It enhances the performance of Hempaguard X7 by incorporating a new biocide-free silicone topcoat, Hempaguard XL.
- This coating system is chosen for its ability to deliver significant fuel savings of up to 21% and maintain a stable, smooth hull surface for extended periods, even into the fourth or fifth year of a docking cycle. It also offers 160 fouling-free idle days and a minimal average speed loss of 0.9%.
