Description
Multi-purpose epoxy for hull, decks, and structural steel
Did you know
- The Devoe Coatings Bar-Rust 233H is a two-component, chemically-cured epoxy semi-gloss coating. It was noted in a May 2009 forum post as meeting California's VOC standards and being approved for various applications, suggesting it was available by or before this time.
- The Bar-Rust 233H is part of Sherwin-Williams Marine's Bar-Rust line of surface tolerant epoxy coatings. It is a high-performance, multi-purpose coating, positioned alongside other Bar-Rust products like the Bar-Rust 235, which also offers surface tolerance and multi-purpose applications.
- The Bar-Rust 233H is particularly chosen for its certification by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for potable water service in tanks larger than 500 gallons and pipes with diameters greater than six inches, making it suitable for drinking water systems. It also offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents, and can be applied in low temperatures down to 0°F (-18°C).
