- The RAYCHEM VERSAFIT V4 heat shrink tubing is part of TE Connectivity's broader RAYCHEM heat shrink tubing family, which originated from the pioneering work in radiation crosslinking and heat-shrinkable polymer products. The VERSAFIT series, including V4, is designed to meet UL 224 VW-1 and CSA standards for flame retardance.
- The VERSAFIT V4 is a very thin-wall version within the VERSAFIT heat shrink tubing range, offering space savings compared to standard tubings. It sits alongside other VERSAFIT products like VERSAFIT V2, which is also a highly flame-retardant, low shrink temperature polyolefin heat shrink tubing.
- The RAYCHEM VERSAFIT V4 is chosen for its very thin-wall construction, which allows for space savings and faster shrinking, reducing installation time and the risk of damage to temperature-sensitive components.
