Aker Pusnes bow loading system (BLS) — bow-mounted equipment that lets a shuttle tanker moor to an offshore loading buoy or FPSO and load through its bow: hawser winch, chain stopper, hose-handling winch and bow loading coupler. Pusnes delivered the first advanced bow loading system in the North Sea in 1978.
