Aker Pusnes 320HW — the hydraulic mooring winch used across a shipset, and the same winch module that forms the winch half of the P-15CU + 320HW anchor windlass (^JBPW). Drum with warping head, band brake and dog clutch, turned by a low-speed high-torque hydraulic motor through a reduction gear and worked from a 6MBP valve block (^JBPW2). What it gives you on deck at this size: about 30 t nominal pull at 15 m/min, 45 m/min on slack rope, band brake set around 92 t on design (80% of a 115 t line) and taken as about 69 t in service (60%), and roughly 260 l/min of oil at rated pull — which is what sizes the deck main and the HPU (^JHPA), not the winch itself. A drum stows in the order of 275 m of 42 mm wire with an 11 m nylon tail. Weight runs about 5.9 t to 8.4 t depending on the drum arrangement. The suffix after the type is the build, not a different machine — 320HW 10M.47, 320HW 10M.53, 320HW 54.M10 and 320HW 10M.54 are the same winch in different hands and drum counts.
