- DSB, or Deutsche Schlauchboot, has been developing and manufacturing rubberized fabrics for marine, defense, and aerospace applications since 1931. The DSB SOLAS series of liferafts are designed to meet the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) requirements.
- The DSB SOLAS 25P is a davit-launched liferaft, designed for 25 persons. Within DSB's SOLAS range, davit-launched liferafts are available in capacities such as 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, and 25 persons. DSB also offers throw-overboard SOLAS liferafts in a wider range of capacities, from 6 to 100 persons.
- The DSB SOLAS 25P is a davit-launched liferaft, allowing for embarkation directly from the vessel's deck, which is a safer deployment method in adverse weather conditions compared to throw-overboard rafts. It is manufactured from corrosion and abrasion-resistant polyurethane coated fabric, ensuring durability. The liferaft also features a fully enclosed, double-skinned, high-visibility canopy with retro-reflective tape for improved visibility and an insulated floor for thermal protection.
