- The Zodiac Coastal liferaft is designed for vessels operating in coastal or protected waters. It is manufactured with a durable polyurethane coated fabric and assembled using Thermobonding™ technology.
- The Coastal liferaft is positioned within Zodiac's range as a Type 2 liferaft, suitable for coastal navigation and moderate sea conditions, in contrast to the Open Sea ISO 9650, which is a Type 1 liferaft designed for open sea sailing and long voyages.
- This model is chosen for its suitability for coastal cruising, offering a balance of safety features for nearshore operations, and often being lighter and more affordable than offshore alternatives.
